Responsibilities and Activities
Concluding suggested credits from the various departments and examining plans and credits suggested in the framework of the approved forms;
Announcing the university's budget directive to the affiliated departments based on the country's general standards for preparing budgets, the university's guidelines, and the trustees board directives;
Working with other departments in preparing and adjusting their suggested budget;
Planning and offering ways to improve how to perform works and how to improve administrative procedures and efficiency;
 Proposing a budget to the relevant authorities and defending it through participating in related commissions and meetings;
Performing research plans about how refine organizational structure and formation, manpower structure, organizational culture, systems and procedures used by the university;
Preparing drafts of the current, constructional, and specific agreements and other resources to finance and supply credits;
Seasonal review of functions of various departments and proposing ways to refine the budget plan;
Predicting organizational job positions in order to recruit necessary staff;
Continuous analyzing and studying in the organization and duties of the affiliated departments in order to proper division of responsibilities among departments and avoiding redundancy;
Announcing the approved budget to each department and assessing the promotion of development in each department regarding the approved credits and their functions;
Analyzing and performing all procedures related to preparing the university's budget;
Analyzing all executive systems and procedures of the university and reforming them and optimizing the current measurements;
Preparing and adjusting the necessary statistics about activities and staff of the university and the affiliated departments in order to issue proper and logic opinions and comments and announcing the generated figures;
Continuous analysis of the activities of the university and its departments and their procedures given the university's developments;
Planning to achieve a continuous improvement in management and efficient education, research, and technology processes with regard to meritocracy, innovation, creativity, increased participation and organizational flexibility;
Conducting research projects to determined necessary measurement for refining domestic regulations and bylaws of the university with the aim of making them simpler and more coordinated;
Planning and monitoring systems, methods and procedures of the university and taking necessary measures to improve and upgrade them with the aim of increasing satisfaction of both employees and clients, facilitating functions and meeting the new demands;
Supporting, directing and supervising efficiency and administrative development of the university;
Planning for applying councils' directives and the university's Efficiency and Administrative Development Commission;
Implementing training plans and workshops, organizing seminars and conferences on the efficiency and administrative development;
Preparing an organizational structure (including chart, duties and organizational positions) proper with the duties and responsibilities defined for the university's affiliated departments through working with the relevant departments and submitting it to the Trustees Board.
Analyzing recommendations made by departments on how to change and reform organizational positions and duties and preparing necessary reports and taking necessary measures to resolve their organizational problems;
Studying and specifying training needs and apprenticeship of employees and performing training plans for the mentioned employees;
Analyzing and working on employees' job classification;
Specifying occupational ranks and organizational positions of the university given the job classification plan;
Active participation and making opinions about issues raised in councils and committees;
Collecting all figures and data necessary for the university;
Preparing necessary figures about activities, forces, and factors available in the university and the affiliated departments in order to make proper and reasonable comments in the university's management;
Working with the Administrative and Financial Deputy of the university in holding tenders and concluding agreements with the counseling engineers and companies and contractors to carry out constructional projects in accordance with the related regulations;
Preparing, checking and approving maps of constructional projects;
Supervising proper execution of the constructional projects;
Dealing with problems of counselors and contractors and other financial issues of the constructional projects;
Analysing statements and financial matters of the constructional projects;
Planning and supplying necessary tools and materials for the projects;
Performing trust plans of the university;
Preparing maps and performing technical calculations for the trust projects of the various departments of the university;
Supervising constriction and installation operations in various departments of the university;
Planning for key and fundamental repairs and proposing necessary budget to the related authorities and making sure about the proper execution of repairs in the departments and verifying the relevant documents;
Supervising and performing procedures of repair and maintenance of the university's various installations and buildings;
Conducting other affairs and works assigned by the senior authorities.
